From Srinagar Airport (SXR)
The nearest airport is Srinagar (SXR). The most convenient option is a prepaid taxi from the airport, which takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours to cover the ~50–58 km distance. Fares typically range from ₹2,500 to ₹3,500 depending on the vehicle and season.
Winter Access
In heavy winter, regular taxis may not be able to reach Gulmarg. Travelers often need to hire a vehicle to Tangmarg first, then switch to a local 4x4 or a car with snow chains for the final stretch.

Tickets & Prices
