Other people’s tracks don’t mean a slope is safe. New snow, wind or warm weather can change a slope overnight. The center’s advisory is the public daily report for Gulmarg, including the danger rating by elevation.
Outside the season the center closes. Skiing here runs December to March, with snow mainly up high into April.
